What we collect

• Your account: your name, email, business name and password (stored scrambled, never readable).
• What you put on your screens: the pictures, videos, web links and schedules you add.
• Your screens: each player’s model, app version, network address, whether it’s online, what it played and when, and a small screenshot of what’s on the screen every few minutes so you can check it from your phone.
• Messages you send us, like the Talk to us form: name, business, email, phone and what you wrote.
• How people use the website: pages visited, the device and browser, roughly where in the world, and which buttons get clicked. This comes from Google Analytics, on the website and the sign-up page only (not inside your account).

Why

To run your signs, show you what’s playing, email you when a screen goes offline, help you when you ask, and bill you on a paid plan. That’s it.

Who else sees it

We don’t sell your information and we don’t show ads. We only share it with the companies that help us run Ya Screen (like our web host, email delivery, payment processing and Google Analytics), and only what they need, or when the law requires it.

Cookies

Signing in uses one cookie to keep you signed in. The website and the sign-up page use Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages help; we don’t use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your browser’s network address.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. Play history is kept up to about two years and online/offline history about four months. If you close your account, we delete your content and screens, except what we have to keep for taxes and billing.

Screenshots on your TVs

Your screens send a screenshot of what they show so you can see it in your account. If a screen ever shows anything private, tell us and we can turn screenshots down to “only when you ask”.

Your choices

You can see and change your info in your account, and ask us for a copy or to delete it at [email protected].

Kids

Ya Screen is for businesses. It isn’t meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we’ll email account owners first.
